Our Message
1. The Hutto Resource Center is located in Hutto, Texas. It is an organization that helps the people of Hutto through food distribution, financial assistance, and information about other resources that may help individuals and families.
2. The Trump administration has cut or plans to cut billions of dollars of funding for programs that provide food assistance, energy assistance, housing assistance, and health care assistance for families, children, and seniors.
3. Millions of Americans have been and will be affected by these cuts, including people in Hutto.
Give Support
SammySocks Etc. will donate 20% of all sales during the month of July 2025 to the Hutto Resource Center. 20% of your purchase will go toward helping provide the Hutto Resource Center with funds needed to assist food distribution, financial assistance, and provide other resources to the people of Hutto.
Take Action
1. Donate directly to the Hutto Resource Center.
2. Volunteer at the Hutto Resource Center.
3. Contact (visit, call, email, text, and/or write letters) your local officials in your city, county, state, and federal government. Let them know that they need to step up and support organizations such as the Hutto Resource Center. You can find who your elected officials are at this website: https://www.usa.gov/elected-officials.
4. Specifically contact your federal elected officials (congressmen or congresswomen and senators) to let them know that you do not support the cuts to federal programs that help support families, children, and seniors with food assistance, health care assistance, housing assistance, and energy assistance.
