“Schweetie, have I told you that I love you lately?” asked Mark.
“Yes, you told me five minutes ago, Mark,” replied Sally.
“Uh, Honey, have I told you how gorgeous you are recently?” asked Mark.
“Ten minutes ago,” replied Sally.
Several minutes of silence pass by. Mark and Sally are sitting in their car waiting at a red light in heavy traffic.
“Cutie Pie, have I told you that you look really great in those pastel, low cut socks from SammySocks Etc.?” asked Mark.
“Right before you told me how gorgeous I look,” said Sally.
“Oh, right,” said Mark.
“What’s this all about, Mark?” asked Sally. “What’s going on?”
“Nothing, Dear,” answered Mark a little too quickly.
The traffic light turned from red to green. Cars ahead of them began to move. Mark joined them.
“Speaking of motorcycles,” said Mark, “You sure would look good riding on the back of one sitting right behind a studly, good looking man with a flowing mane of thick, white hair and wearing a leather jacket.”
“Yes, I would,’ replied Sally. “Do you know of anyone like that?”
